The torment continues. And when it looks like Zbrojovka Brno is out of the worst, another harsh directive will come. After two goals by Adam Kronus, it seemed that the Brno team was heading to break through the crisis and claim their first home win of the current season, but three minutes were enough and everything was different. The last ten-minute period was great for Vlašimi, in which they scored twice, and Zbrojovka continues to wait for a second league win after a 2:2 draw. The last time she took three points was on August 10.
The players of Zbrojovka were falling into an increasingly deep crisis before Saturday. They needed a moment that would kick them up and that could come in the seventeenth minute of the match with Vlašima. Kronus took advantage of the good start, who took the ball outside the penalty area and sent the home team into the lead with a great shot.
The 22-year-old player then tried to repeat his great shot, but missed by a bit. And so, until the end of the first half, there was an even passage in which both teams did not deal well with signs of further chances.
Vlašim entered the second half with a great opportunity, which Erik Biegon did not convert, so Kronus could give the home team peace of mind. In the 59th minute, he found Filip Štěpánek’s cross exactly and everything indicated that Zbrojovka was aiming for its first home win.
But the visitors saved their best period until the final ten minutes. Vlašim’s coach Aleš Majer made a great substitution, when in the 80th minute Martin Šubert, who had been on the field for less than a quarter of an hour, reduced the score to 1:2.
And just three minutes later, the scalded home team received another direct. Again, the substitute player prevailed, Jakub Hodek took advantage of the confusion on the small goal and it was equalized.
Zbrojovka was under pressure in the rest of the game, but the fans did not see another goal. After a 2:2 draw, the Brno team moved out of the relegation positions at least until Sunday.
