The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this Friday that in the last 24 hours 8,159 new infections were recorded while there were 214 deaths.
In this way, the daily report raises the total number of positives since the beginning of the pandemic to 329,043 in the country, of which 1,175 (0.4%) are imported, 82,187 (25%) are close contacts of confirmed cases, 201,933 (61.4%) are cases of community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.
Meanwhile, with the 214 deaths in the last 24 hours, 6,730 people died.
