The Latvian national team started the game of the third qualifying tournament of the World Championship very successfully. In the first end, three points were won, but in the third, one was stolen, taking the lead with 4: 0. Until the big break, the two teams exchanged for two points, thus maintaining our girls’ four-point lead of 6: 2.
In the sixth end, our team was again at three points, when the Finns did not realize their last throw, and came to a comfortable lead with 9: 2. In the seventh, the efforts of the opponents to get closer resulted in only one point (3: 9), but in the eighth, our girls are again at three points, which makes the Finns capitulate.
