The study, however, has just had a significant loss, as one of its leading members has just left the company.
Today it was confirmed that designer Jerry Hook has left not only 343 Industries, but also Microsoft entirely. You may not recognize the name of this creative, but you should know that he was the lead designer of Halo Infiniteapart from the fact that he participated in the development of the franchise, precisely in Halo 4 y Halo 5: Guardians.

Jerry Hook worked for several years at Microsoft
That’s not all, this creative worked for several years at Microsoft and was a key part in the development of Xbox, since he was one of those responsible for the founding of Xbox LIVE. His career at Microsoft dates back to 2003, as chief program manager for Xbox LIVE accounts and commerce.
He then became involved in executive production roles at 343 Industries until leaving the company in 2015 to go to Bungie and work on the franchise. Destiny. Years later, in 2018, he returned to 343 Industries to take charge of the design of Halo Infinitea position he held until today.

The developer did not reveal what his new job will be, but he anticipated the next step in his career with the phrase “the next saga is on the way” on his LinkedIn profile (via Eurogamer).
343 Industries suffers another significant loss
Hook’s departure draws attention because he is the design lead for Halo Infinitewhich has only been on the market for 6 months and is experiencing the most challenging stage, since fans are not very happy with the online section of the title.
