After the theft of copper, at the beginning of November, in a company in Villages-Vovéens, for a value of 9,000 €, a company in Toury is the latest victim of a metal theft, which occurred on Tuesday, November 24, for a value of 5,000 €.
This implies that an organized band, specializing in the theft of several tons of metal cables, is probably operating in Eure-et-Loir or elsewhere.
The investigation was entrusted to the gendarmes of Villages-Vovéens. Faced with this scourge, it is not excluded that the Lucé research brigade, or even the Orléans research section, is involved in these investigations.
