The pace is really starting to pick up now. The fifth Indiana Jones movie which may have to appear in the cinema next year has been enriched again with a big name. None other than Mads Mikkelsen will play a role in the movie.
Deadline reports that the actor is joining franchise newcomer Phoebe Waller-Bridge and of course Harrison Ford who plays the title hero again. Further details have not yet been revealed, but it is clear that the shooting for the film will start quite soon. Composer John Williams will also return.

Mikkelsen is no longer a small name in Hollywood and he has already appeared in a number of other Disney productions. A while ago he played the villain in Marvels Doctor Strange and in the Star Wars-film Rogue One.
Mikkelsen is also known for other great titles. Then think Casino Royale starring him as Le Chiffre and starring in such films as The hunt on A Royal Affair and the series Hannibal. In 2022 he will also appear as Gellert Grindelwald in the third Fantastic Beasts-movie. He replaces Johnny Depp.
Currently standing Indiana Jones 5 scheduled for July 29, 2022 and will be directed by James Mangold (Ford v. Ferrari, Logan), met Steven Spielberg as a producer. The recordings should start next summer.
