A press conference by Sheriff Ric Bradshaw of Palm Beach County revealed details: An agent who was ahead of Trump on his golf tee shots spotted the barrel of a gun sticking out of a fence at around 1:30 p.m. The suspect fled in a black Nissan; it is unclear whether he also fired shots. Donald Trump’s campaign office in West Palm Beach was secured and cordoned off, while he himself returned safely to his Mar-a-Lago estate. Authorities are now trying to find out where the gun came from and who bought it.
