Another 9030 people were confirmed infected with the coronavir virus in Lithuania last day and 23 deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Sunday.
Of the new infections, 7752 were first-time infections, 1270 were second-time infections and eight were third-time infections. Previously, the Department of Statistics only published data on cases where a person became infected for the first time, but since the end of last week, data on cases of reinfection have also been published.

7418 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 62.1%.
