It means further 700 nursery school employees will go on strike from Wednesday.
With this retreat, a total of over 3,100 employees will be on strike.

Striking parties from the kindergarten met again for talks at the Riksmekleren on Tuesday at 12 after yesterday’s talks led to nothing.
– The parties do not wish to continue this voluntary mediation. We have therefore just finished, says broker Geir Engebretsen to NRK.
New escalation
– We are very disappointed that we too could not reach an agreement. We will now step up the strike tomorrow, says Delta union leader Trond Ellefsen.
– I hope that PBL goes home and thinks about it, that it becomes a little more creative in the proposals it proposes and that it goes beyond what it has done in recent days. We’ve come a long way, says Ellefsen.
– What should PBL do?
– They have to give us an AFP deal on the same level as the others. Our members mostly want to go to work and take care of the children. We receive strong support from parents, despite now having a more difficult daily life. Prove we’re right in our demands, she says.

Support the attackers
For Lars Sakseide, taking care of the three children has mostly gone well, but there has been some logistics, he says.
– Bømlo is a small place and the strike affects many of the people living here. It is vital that someone can take care of the children so that adults can get to work, she says.
– What do you think of the strike then?
– I understand very well that the employees of the kindergarten are on strike, but yes, it will be a burden for all of us and therefore a rather complicated situation, says Sakseide.
– I hope they can get over what they are striking for and that it can work for all sides.
