Another 6554 people were confirmed infected with the coronavir virus in Lithuania last day and 11 deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Sunday.
12,230 analyzes were performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 53.6%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Lithuania, 8,045,480 tests have been performed and 862,049 infections have been detected.
A total of 8,251 people died in Lithuania with Covid-19.
There are currently 1,817 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 111 of whom are receiving intensive care.
According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has decreased to 4,013.8.
A total of 1,945,495 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 1,868,633 primary vaccination courses. 905 252 people received booster vaccinations.
