The epidemiological indicators of Covid-19 remain at a high level in the Rhône where 59 new patients have still been admitted in the last 24 hours in hospital, including 6 in intensive care.
After two days of fall in trompe-l’oeil, the number of hospitalized patients thus goes up in the department to 921 (+15) this Saturday, January 23, including 129 in intensive care (-1). After 9 deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of patients who have died in hospital has risen to 2,101 since 1is March. Since that date, 9,744 patients have returned to their homes (+31).

The fear of imminent degradation
If the situation is still changing little in health establishments, the rise in incidence rates raises concerns about an imminent deterioration: they reached 225/100 000 in the Rhône and 218; 9/100 000 in the Metropolis of Lyon for the rolling week of January 15 to 20.
If the positivity rate remains stable (8.4%) over this period, it should also rise in the coming days.
