In Lithuania last day, an additional 3,303 people were confirmed infected with the new coronavirus, but the disease caused by the virus, Covid-19, claimed 26 lives, the Statistics Department announced on Friday.
25,859 analyzes were performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 12.8%. A total of 5,819,596 analyzes were performed in Lithuania.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 403,051 people have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus in the country.
A total of 5,800 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania.
1831 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, 146 of whom are in resuscitation.
According to the data of the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has increased to 1404.7.
A total of 1,806,991 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, including 1,639,923 people who have completed the vaccination course. 80 169 people received booster vaccinations.
