In Lithuania last day, infection of the new coronavir was confirmed by another 2,339 people and 22 new deaths with the virus-related disease Covid-19 were registered, the Department of Statistics announced on Friday.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic, it has the highest number of new infections in a single day in Lithuania.
A total of 56,095 people have been diagnosed with the virus in the country, and recovery has been confirmed in 13,514 people.
12,054 analyzes were performed last day, thus 19.4% of tests were positive. A total of 1,224,738 analyzes were performed in Lithuania.
A total of 471 people died of the Covid-19 virus disease in Lithuania, but another 213 people were infected with the virus.
According to the Lithuanian National Center for Public Health, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population on November 27 in Lithuania is 868.7
