During the previous day in Lithuania, infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed in another 2121 people and 11 new deaths with the virus-related disease Covid-19 were registered, the Statistics Department announced on Saturday.
A total of 58,212 people were diagnosed with the virus in the country, and 14,056 people were confirmed to recover. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 has reached 482.
12,848 analyzes were performed last day, but in total more than 1.24 million analyzes were performed in Lithuania.
At present, 1,734 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, 132 of whom are in resuscitation, Statistics Lithuania said.
Oxygen is needed by 947 patients, 89 people have artificial lung ventilation.
