Hostel in isolation

A new outbreak of coronavirus was recorded by hygienists at a hostel in Čečelice in the Mělník region. Infected workers are in isolation and have reportedly not met the locals. There are 29 people in quarantine in connection with the infection. There are a total of thirteen cases of covid-19 in the district.

According to the spokesperson of the regional hygienic station, Dana Šalamunová, the hygienists managed to catch the infection in the locality in time. “We have it under control,” she said.

The most infected in Central Bohemia is in the Kutná Hora region, in the local outbreak in Církvice there were 51 infected on Wednesday. People in the region have to wear masks indoors, in addition to which mass events are limited, and visits to hospitals and nursing homes are prohibited.

However, hygienists want to ease extraordinary measures in the Kutná Hora region. In the past 24 hours, two more positive testers were added in connection with the outbreak, a total of 53. Due to the minimal increase, hygienists at Friday’s meeting of the Kutná Hora Crisis Staff will propose mitigation of current measures, said Dana Šalamunová, spokeswoman for the regional hygiene station.

The Uherské Hradiště ICU has another infected

Tests for covid-19 also showed infection in another paramedic of the intensive care unit (ICU) at the hospital in Uherské Hradiště.
