6242 analyzes were performed last day and the proportion of positive tests was 21.8%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,580,980 analyzes have been performed in Lithuania and 1,048,704 infections have been detected.
A total of 9,011 people have died from Covid-19 in Lithuania.
There are currently 706 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 46 of whom are in intensive care.
According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has decreased to 686.1.
A total of 1,949,798 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, of whom 1,873,726 have completed the primary vaccination course. 925,297 people were vaccinated.
In Estonia, another 259 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection and three deaths were caused by Covid-19, the health department said on Saturday.
1436 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 18%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,291,730 analyzes and 567,183 infections have been detected in Estonia.
A total of 2,511 people died in Estonia from Covid-19.
There are currently 223 Covid-19 patients treated in hospitals, 89 of whom are severely ill.
The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population, calculated by the Estonian Department of Health, has dropped to 673.4.
A total of 859,918 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Estonia, of whom 843,999 have completed the primary vaccination course. 449,613 people received booster vaccinations.
