KOMPAS.com – A new study by University of Barcelona researchers found that some people who test positive for Covid-19 experience a variety of nasal symptoms before more common symptoms become visible.
In particular, the study found that symptoms like dry nose often appears before people exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 corona virus experience symptoms of anosmia, which is a loss of their ability to smell and taste.
In some cases, dry nose symptoms co-occur with anosmia.

Reported BGR, Monday (30/11/2020), as a whole, the list symptoms of Covid-19 continues to multiply as data medics and researchers collect during the pandemic.
In previous reports, researchers found that the most common symptom of Covid-19 was anosmia, not a dry cough.
Furthermore, there are flu-like symptoms characterized by fever, chills, dry cough, and fatigue.
Then other symptoms that also appear can include nasal congestion, dry throat, sore joints and muscles, inflammation of the lining of the eyes and mucous membranes, difficulty breathing, to diarrhea.
At the same time, a recent study from Northwestern Medicine found that 82 percent of coronavirus patients who had symptoms severe enough to require hospitalization also experienced various neurological symptoms at some point during their illness.
The list of common neurological symptoms includes memory loss, confusion, and inability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time.
The scariest thing is that many Covid-19 patients experience prolonged neurological disorders, up to a matter of months after being discharged from the hospital.
Several studies have shown that coronavirus patients who are adults or older are more likely to experience neurological disorders for a long time.
In addition, there is growing evidence that Covid-19 survivors are showing signs of lung and heart damage months after their initial diagnosis.

In fact, asymptomatic patients can show signs of lung and heart damage months later.
“We are very saddened to know that many people who have fully recovered (from Covid-19) and appear to be asymptomatic (without symptoms), on scanning using magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, have inflammation of the heart,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci in September.
“When you have inflammation, you can have scar tissue. That can lead to arrhythmias later in life or cause cardiomyopathy,” says Fauci.
