The international hacking group Anonymous has said it has gained access to the Kremlin’s video surveillance system, the Disinformation Center of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine told Facebook.
“Thblckrbbtworld, acting on behalf of Anonymous, gained access to the Kremlin’s video surveillance system. We will not stop until all your secrets have been revealed. You cannot stop us. We are now inside the castle, the Kremlin,” the group said in a statement.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov had denied the possibility of hacking the Kremlin’s video surveillance system, noting that it was “closed”.
However, this system is connected to the Internet, so it has remote access, but requires a virtual private network (VPN) to browse.
Anonymous has previously announced that it has obtained and published on the Internet the personal data of 120,000 Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine.
