The Anonymous hacker group carried out a powerful cyberattack on the Russian aviation IT infrastructure. They not only deleted more than 65 terabytes of data, but also “put down” the network. This is stated in an Anonymous post in Twitter.
“Powerful cyberattack on the servers of the Russian Civil Aviation Administration: no more data and backup,” the report says.
RosSMI confirmed the cyberattack, which took place on Saturday. It is noted that the network did not work, and all documents, mail, files on the servers were destroyed.
In total, we are talking about about 65 terabytes of data, and as a result of the attack, all emails for 1.5 years were lost.
According to RosSMI, no one made any backups. The Ministry of Finance did not allocate funds for this. It is already known that since Saturday, employees of the prosecutor’s office, as well as the FSB, have been conducting an investigation in the Federal Air Transport Agency.
Recall the day before Anonymous exposed the fake Russian Federation about the inhuman treatment of prisoners in the APU.
Before that Anonymous published 28 GB of data of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
