Detectives from the Chillán Anti-Narcotics and Organized Crime Brigade, in coordination with the Public Ministry, arrested two men and seized cannabis sativa, weapons and ammunition, in a procedure carried out this Wednesday, December 6, at a home in the eastern sector of the city of Chillán, from where the defendants sold the drugs.
The head (S) of the specialized Unit, Subprefect Carlos Montecinos Medel, pointed out that, “this operation was born from the Denuncia Seguro platform and from there, investigative procedures begin to be carried out that allow us to obtain these important results.”
Therefore, the Subprefect emphasizes that, “it is vitally important that citizens have confidence in providing anonymous information, either through telephone platforms or directly in our Police Complexes, since in this way they are achieved, as in this case. , concrete actions that restore the perception of security to the residents of Ñuble”,
The two detainees, Chileans, of legal age and without police records, were placed at the disposal of the Chillán Guarantee Court.
