AMSTERDAM – The Public Prosecution Service has closed two channels of conspiracy theorists on Telegram because criminal threats against public authorities were shared. These are the channels De Batavian Republic and Het Bataafse Nieuws, which were founded by Wouter Raatgever, Joost Knevel and Micha Kat. They would be used to spread unfounded stories in which, among other things, RIVM director Jaap van Dissel is associated with pedophile networks and conspiracy theories about corona. The two channels had 13,000 followers and were growing. Five questions:
