The very first working day of the new calendar year is full of television premieres. In addition to feature films and series, documentaries, such as Anna by Helena Třeštíková, also have their place in broadcasting.
The documentary, which premiered at the Amsterdam International Film Festival, was screened on Tuesday. Helena Třeštíková traditionally follows the fates of one specific person in it with the help of time collection.
It was Anny, as the title of the film suggests, an aging companion working in Prague. The director described her authenticity as amazing.

An association to help Prague’s companions came into the search for a respected filmmaker in the 1990s, when a film about Delight without Risk was made. Anny was involved here at the time.
The shooting eventually lasted a full sixteen years. You can judge the result yourself even if you did not watch yesterday. The document is currently available in iBroadcasting Czech Television.
