JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Today, Saturday (14/10/2023), there will be a ring solar eclipse phenomenon. Check out what time the annular solar eclipse will occur and the live streaming link.
A ring solar eclipse occurs when the Earth, Moon and Sun are in a parallel line. The Moon’s shadow will fall on the earth so that it covers the appearance of the Sun.
The size of the Moon, which appears small from Earth, means that the Sun’s light is still visible and resembles a ring.
This phenomenon can be seen in North America, Central America and South America or on a 125 mile long strip that stretches from Oregon to Texas.
