SUKABUMIUPDATE.com – A rare astronomical phenomenon, namely the ring of fire solar eclipse, will occur this weekend or to be precise on Saturday, (14/10/2023).
Reported on the NASA page, this annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is at its farthest point from Earth.
This causes the Moon to appear smaller and does not block the entire Sun when it passes in front of the Earth’s satellite.

This will cause the Moon to leave the bright ring of the Sun visible at the peak of the eclipse, creating an effect like a ring of fire.
“On October 14 2023, an annular solar eclipse will cross North, Central and South America, this eclipse will be visible to millions of people in the Western Hemisphere,” wrote NASA on its official website.
However, this rare phenomenon cannot be witnessed directly in Indonesia. NASA said that this annular solar eclipse could only be seen in North, Central America and most of South America.
However, the ring of fire can only be seen in a strip 118 to 137 miles (190 to 220 kilometers) wide.
So, what if the people of Indonesia or countries where the ring of fire solar eclipse does not pass through want to witness this phenomenon?
