The association of voluntary blood donors of Villefranchois held its general meeting on Friday March 24 in the presence of Pascale Combe-Cayla, representing the municipality, Eric Cantournet, the departmental councilor, and Mr. Nevroltis, president of the Departmental Union 12 .
During the five collections in 2022, 1,462 donors came to Villefranche, approximately 150 donors to Villeneuve over 3 collections, 85 donors to the LISI site and, most recently, 27 donors to La Fouillade.
The association has expanded in Villefranche with the presence of a new volunteer, and La Fouillade has become a branch (like Villeneuve) with two volunteers who will welcome donors.
Finally, as is customary, medals of recognition were awarded to three donors who made their last donation (reached the age limit) and two Knight’s Crosses to two of our volunteers for their diligent work. and their dedication to promoting blood donation.
The next collections will take place at the Salle des Fêtes de la Madeleine on Monday June 5, Tuesday June 6 and Wednesday June 7 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday June 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
