The Saint-Hélier, Sacré-Cœur and Landry districts organized their traditional garage sales on Sunday September 24, 2023. Behind the station, 1,850 sellers were present during the sale, under the presidency of Jean-Paul Vitry. From 8 a.m., they exhibited their articles, some carefully arranged, others a little less so. But plenty of space was available. “People have a lot less things to sell,” assures one visitor. For forty years, this clearance sale has been one of the largest in Rennes, taking place in this old district of the city, known for its houses dating from the mid-20th century. As always, the atmosphere was friendly, with musical entertainment. You could find a lot of clothes, but few unusual objects. It is worth mentioning a seller who offered many philosophical works. Note the presence of the Young Rebels who had a stand!
