Social media posts from Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 owners showed that the phone’s internal screen was broken with a crack right in the middle, even when there was no wear on the devices.
A user named Snoo_23916 on Reddit, /r/GalaxyFold He shared his experiences in the sub-series and stated that when he opened the screen to show a friend his phone, he heard a crackling sound.

After that the right side of the screen was no longer responding to touch at all. Interestingly, he also reports that the phone has only been unlocked 2-3 times a week over a 15-month period, suggesting that excessive wear cannot be the culprit.
Another user, Mizderrung, shared a similar experience, saying that their device is three months old and Samsung has denied the warranty, stating that it was a hit point.
So far, no official statement has been made on the subject. But if this problem becomes widespread, it will not be hard to guess that Samsung will be very annoyed.
