Announcing the Tenth Lebanon International Theater Festival in Tripoli: Celebrating Arab Culture and Artistic Excellence

The “Tiro Association for the Arts” and “Istanbuli Theater” announced the holding of the tenth session of the “Lebanon International Theater Festival” in Tripoli, from 28 to 31 August, at the “Free Lebanese National Theatre”, a tribute to the spirit of the artist Khaled Al Qasimi, Under the slogan “Tripoli, the Capital of Arab Culture”, the festival will feature theatrical performances “The Boat” directed by Sharh Al-Bal Abdel-Hadi from Libya, “In the Name of God” performed and directed by Mustafa Al-Hilali from Iraq, and “The Sultan” written and directed by Salem Al-Mansouri from Qatar, and “Waiting for the Birds” written by Carlos Pessoa and directed by Ana Palma and Herlandson Duarte from Portugal, “Hope for Life” performed and directed by Zilur Rahman John from Bangladesh and Canada, and “Reenacting Theatre” by the Tiro Arts Ensemble from Lebanon. The performances compete within the official competition of the festival in the categories of awards for Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Text, Best Scenography, Best Direction, Best Integrated Work, and the award of the jury consisting of Dr. As for the guest of the festival, he is the artist Muhammad Al-Mansour from Kuwait. On the sidelines of the festival, a training workshop will be held for children entitled “Story Builders”, trained by Ana Palma and Ana Dias from the Da Grajem Theater from Portugal.
