School Book Club Awards
By Resolution of May 4, 2023, of the Secretary of State for Education (BOE of May 9, 2023) the School Reading Club Awards corresponding to the 2022-2023 academic year are called.

Recipients
The awards are aimed at Spanish educational centers supported with public funds that provide basic education (Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education and basic grade training cycles), adult education centers, official language schools and training centers. special education, who have developed school reading club projects in order to recognize the effort made by educational centers and their contribution to improving the quality of education.
categories
The prizes are awarded in two categories and modalities:
Category 1: centers located in municipalities with up to 5,000 inhabitants.
Mode A: centers supported with public funds for Primary Education.
Mode B: Compulsory Secondary Education centers supported with public funds, including centers that provide basic grade training cycles, special education, adult education centers and official language schools.
Category 2: centers located in municipalities with more than 5,000 inhabitants.
Mode A: centers supported with public funds for Primary Education.
Mode B: Compulsory Secondary Education centers supported with public funds, including centers that provide basic grade training cycles, special education, adult education centers and official language schools.
Application deadline and form of presentation
- Applications may be submitted from May 10 to 2:00 p.m. on June 16, 2023.
- Applications will be submitted through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

Along with the application, the following must be submitted:
a) Memory of 20 DIN-A4 sheets on one side (excluding index and cover) with Arial 11 font and 1.5 spacing. External links that certify the contents of the report may be inserted, as well as photographs in PNG or JPG format. The report will be presented in pdf format and must include the following PO boxes:
- Book club name.
- Purpose of the same and its reflection in the different documents of the center.
- Number of participants, composition and person in charge or coordinator of the club.
- Organization and operation of the club (schedule, frequency, duration and number of meetings, planning and development of the same, etc.) and its relationship with the school library of the center.
- Performed activities.
- Evaluation procedure of the club and its activities.
- Measures of attention to diversity.
- Media for the dissemination of the club and its activities (blog, center website, social networks, etc.) that include means of accessibility for people with disabilities (subtitling, transcription, etc.) for the dissemination of its activity.
- List of titles of books that have been read.
b) Certificate of the director of the educational center in which the School Board approval for the participation of the center in this call.
c) Certificate of the director in which the date of creation of the book club. If a center presents more than one book club report, the certificate will include a list of all the book clubs with an indication of the date of creation of each of them.

Category 1:

- First prize: 5,000 euros.
- 2 second prizes of 2,500 euros each.
- 3 third prizes of 1,000 euros each.
Mode B:
- First prize: 5,000 euros.
- 2 second prizes of 2,500 euros each.
- 3 third prizes of 1,000 euros each.
Category 2:
Mode A:
- First prize: 5,000 euros.
- 4 second prizes of 2,500 euros each.
- 10 third prizes of 1,000 euros each.
Mode B:
- First prize: 5,000 euros.
- 4 second prizes of 2,500 euros each.
- 9 third prizes of 1,000 euros each.
