Since 2013 the Indie Arena Booth independent developers from all over the world. The aim is to offer participants the best opportunity to present their games to publishers, the press and enthusiastic gamers from all over the world. The stand at gamescom extends over 1,500 square meters and usually shows more than 130 games from over 30 countries. An extensive streaming show on Twitch with more than 1 million views is just as much a part of this as a Steam Festival event, which gives the developers further attention.
This year there will be one again NRW joint stand inside the Indie Arena Booth. Games from NRW are explicitly presented here in their own arcades. The Film and Media Foundation NRW makes it possible five companies a free participation. The selected developer studios will each receive one NRW@Indie Arena Booth Package.
The package includes:
- An exhibition space at the joint NRW stand including an arcade
- at least 1 exhibitor ticket
- Snacks and drinks included
- Part of the IAB and gamescom Steam Festival
- USK age rating included
- Feature on the IAB website
- Logo im Line-Up-Trailer
- Invitation to IAB B2B events
- Participation in the IAB Awards
- free MeetToMatch ticket
- Mention in physical catalogue
- gamescom media pack
The application for that NRW@Indie Arena Booth 2023 Package takes place via the regular application form of the Indie Arena Booth. The application must be supplemented in the headline with the addition „NRW“ be marked. A notice: The addition “NRW” can also be added later to an application that has already been made.
Until Tuesday, May 2, 2023interested companies can apply for a NRW@Indie Arena Booth 2023 Package apply.
In a preferred procedure, the winners will be selected by the Indie Arena Booth and informed of their participation as soon as possible. Further information can be found in the IAB Conditions of Participation, which are accepted with the application.
