Chiba Jets Funabashi is pleased to announce that Masato Ogawa, a third year student at Nippon Sport Science University, has joined Chiba Jets Funabashi as a new professional contract player.
Although Ogawa will continue to be enrolled in Nippon Sport Science University, he will retire from the Nippon Sport Science University men’s basketball club and focus on his activities with the Chiba Jets.

I’m Masato Ogawa and from this season I will play for the Chiba Jets.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone involved with the Chiba Jets for giving me this opportunity, as well as my teammates, including Coach Fujita from Nippon Sport Science University, who supported me, and my family.
I will never forget being grateful and aggressively doing my best as a rookie.
