2020 video archive videos such as Gints Zilbaloža, the director of the internationally acclaimed film “Projas”, can be found master class; inspiring augmented reality professionals lectures within Riga IFF GOES XR; “Architect’s Cut” guest curator Viesturs Celmiņa conversation with architects Sintija Vaivadis and Evelīna Ozola; organized in cooperation with the Latvian Fund for Nature dedicated to climate change conversation after the screening of the movie “Aniara”; interviews with a total of 25 directors who participated in the “Short Riga” program; a series of lectures on sustainable and climate-friendly cinema “Green Charter For Film Festivals“.

It has already been reported that this year, according to the conditions of the pandemic, Riga IFF took place both in person and remotely.

The Riga International Film Festival (Riga IFF) is an annual event that offers a film program for a wide audience, as well as various events for film professionals.

The festival took place for the first time in 2014, when Riga was the European Capital of Culture and the award ceremony of the European Film Academy took place at the Latvian National Opera.
