JAKARTA, investor.id – President Director of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (TUGU) or Tugu Insurance, Indra Baruna resigned from his position. This was stated in his resignation letter to the company on March 18, 2022.
“I hereby announce that I am resigning from the position of president director of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk,” Indra Baruna wrote in his resignation letter quoted on Monday (21/3/2022).

He added that considering the company’s status as a public company and in order to comply with the good corporate governance process in accordance with the company’s articles of association and capital market regulations, his resignation will be effective as of the approval of the general meeting of shareholders.
However, in the letter, Indra Baruna did not explain in detail the reasons for his resignation from the chair of TUGU president director.
Meanwhile, Corporate Secretary TUGU Rudi Donardi in the disclosure of information explained that in connection with the receipt of a letter of resignation from the position of president director of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk on behalf of Mr. Indra Baruna which was received on March 18, 2022.

Therefore, the company stated that the resignation will be effective as of the decision at the general meeting of shareholders of TUGU which will be held no later than 90 calendar days after the receipt of the resignation letter.
