Films expected to participate in the festival
Among the films receiving close attention for this year’s main competition is the sci-fi film Poor Things by Yorgos Lanthimos, starring Emma Stone. Matteo Garrone’s immigrant drama Io Capitano, and Pablo Larraín’s black comedy El Conde about the late Chilean President Augusto Pinochet.
Among the films likely to participate in the festival are Michael Mann’s Ferrari with Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz, David Michôd’s comedy Wizards with Pete Davidson, Naomi Scott and Orlando Bloom, and Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers starring Zendaya and Josh O’Connor.

Last year, the jury was chaired by American actress Julianne Moore, with Spanish director Isabel Coixet for the Orizonte Awards.
