Ztwenty artists exhibit their works of art along the Frauenbach.
After the Corona break, the Weikersdorf art mile will take place again. For the fourth time, artists from the districts of Wiener Neustadt and Neunkirchen are exhibiting their works of art on Untere Ortsstraße along the Frauenbach. The opening is planned for June 18 at 3 p.m. in the forecourt of the elementary school. Afterwards, there will be an inspection of the art mile, in which the artists will personally present their works of art.
This time there are 20 artists. The works of art, painted on metal plates, are attached to the lampposts and are illuminated in the evening. As the Weikersdorf artist and organizer Josef Greiner explains, some art objects will also be partially illuminated in the Frauenbach. “Even our youngest are involved in the art mile,” says Greiner, referring to several art objects from the children from the kindergarten and the students of the elementary school.
At the end, the eight-piece band “NO CALLS ON Monday” will play in the inner courtyard of the municipal office. The musical repertoire moves between pop and jazz. Admission is free.
The 200 meter long art mile can be visited until September.
