Jakarta –
Bank Indonesia (BI)’s interbank transfer service, namely BI Fast, is temporarily closed. Bank Indonesia (BI) explained that the service is currently under repair.
“Announcement regarding BI Fast Services. As a form of Bank Indonesia’s commitment to always prioritize the comfort and security of payment system transactions, Bank Indonesia will carry out activities to improve Bank Indonesia Fast Payment System (BI-FAST) system services,” said BI in a statement on its official Twitter account BI @bank_indonesia, Wednesday (22/11/2023).
The repairs were carried out today, Wednesday, November 22 2023, from 11.30 WIB to 21.00 WIB.
“For this reason, please use BI-Fast transactions outside this period,” the statement continued.
Regarding the temporary closure of the BI Fast service, there were complaints from other bank customers. Like PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) which received customer complaints on Twitter.
BCA also explained that currently the BI Fast service is being temporarily closed because BI is undergoing repairs.
“We apologize for the inconvenience, currently the BI Fast service is being temporarily closed by BI, it is in the process of being handled by related parties. We suggest you wait and try periodically or you can make inter-bank transfer transactions. You can make inter-bank transfer transactions with other services first, such as the Realtime Online service which will be charged IDR 6,500 per transaction,” said BCA in a clear statement on its official Twitter @HaloBCA.
The absence of BI Fast services also occurs at the Digital Bank, Allo Bank. When you want to make a transfer, there is usually a choice of real-time or BI Fast services. However, now the BI Fast service is not available.
