Ceremony with the Minister of Economics Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut
On September 24th, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism and the regional offices for vocational training invited people to the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart to celebrate 100 successful years of vocational training in Baden-Württemberg:
50+ years of networks for professional development,
30+ years of continuing education day Stuttgart and
20+ years of regional professional development offices.
Under the motto Yesterday + Today + Tomorrow + 220 guests from the networks for professional training looked at the nationwide, unique success story. At the end of the ceremony, Minister Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL acknowledged the work of the networks and regional offices, emphasized their importance for further professional development in the future and thanked the volunteer network chairmen.
At the beginning of the event, the representatives of the networks and the regional offices for vocational training and the Stuttgart Further Training Day looked back on the last decades and thanked the vocational training department in the Ministry of Economic Affairs for its sustained support.
In a subsequent discussion session, Dr. Friedrich Bullinger, former ministerial director and Edith Töpfel, former head of department, talk about the first hour of the regional offices and the situation at the time regarding professional training and networks. Dietmar Stengele, former head of department, gave an insight into the work to consolidate the networks and regional offices. As an important cooperation partner, Dr. Susan Koch (Managing Director Operational of the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency) highlighted the good cooperation with the networks and regional offices and gave an outlook on the importance of further professional training.
Raiko Grieb, who has headed the vocational training department in the Ministry of Economic Affairs since September 1st, introduced himself as Dietmar Stengele’s successor. He looks forward to working with his team in the department and with the networks and regional offices.
