Anne Marit Yuvali (63), better known as Annema, has opened up about her love life in prime time as one of the participants in the documentary series “Boundlessly in love”.

In the programme, we get to know a bunch of people who have found love beyond national borders, and Annema and her 33-year-younger husband Dündar Yuvali (29) have taken the viewers by storm.
Many have allowed themselves to be fascinated by the special couple who have participated in three seasons so far.

For Annema, life has changed drastically after she let the cameras into her home in Arendal. Suddenly the whole of Norway knew who she was.
Peace after 12 hours – married after 9 days
– I can’t go to the store without being stopped. Many people want to chat or take a picture. I really appreciate people getting involved, and 99 percent of the attention is only positive. It’s nice, and I feel that a lot of people support us, says Yuvali.

The support from the public is important for Annema, who in recent years has fought a tough battle to get Dündar to Norway.

Had to ditch the wedding in the Philippines
The Directorate of Immigration (UDI) claims that the two have entered into a marriage of convenience, which means that Yuvali has essentially married in order to come to Norway.
Frustrated
Annema strongly rejects this, and has told several times of her frustration and despair in meeting with the UDI. The couple have now hired a lawyer and taken the case to the Immigration Service.
– All we want is to start our life together in Norway. It is incredibly tough not to be believed, and to constantly have to fight for love and our rights, says Anne Marit.
That is why she is not moving to Turkey
At home in Arendal, Annema has several pictures of Dündar on the wall in the nail salon she runs in her own home. Here she also has her own “merch” in the form of T-shirts and jumpers with her own quotes. Constantly eager fans ring the doorbell to take a photo with the outspoken TV profile.
– It feels strange to be famous, but I will probably never change. I am the same as I have always been, asserts the mother of three.

Can win a TV award
Annema is often invited to premieres and celebrity parties in Oslo, and takes part in TVNorge’s new celebrity competition “Sisteman ut”.
These can win the Audience Award
Last year, she and Dündar were nominated for four awards during the Reality Awards, and now the 63-year-old has been nominated for the Audience Award during the Gullruten – a serious award where the viewers themselves vote for the winner.
– It is incredibly great to be nominated for the Gullruten. I can hardly believe it. The only thing that hurt was that Dündar couldn’t be there with me, says Yuvali.
Dündar has also become a celebrity in Norway – without ever having been to the country. When Annema was visiting her husband’s family, she had Se og Hør with her in her suitcase, to show her mother-in-law that her son is famous in Norway.
– It’s a strain
Despite many cheers and support from most people, the large age difference has also led to negative attention. Both in Turkey and Norway they have had to endure hateful comments and incitement.
– I face a lot of prejudice! Some claim I had to go abroad to find a husband. Others say that he is only with me to get a residence permit, and that he is leaving me in three years. It pisses me off so much. Annema does what Annema wants – who I marry is nobody else’s business, thunders the TV profile.
Turns off
Recently, the TV star appeared in the boxing ring to “defend” her love for Dündar in a fight in collaboration with Arendal boxing club.
With “Team Annema” on her chest, she entered the ring fearlessly, while her husband watched excitedly via video chat.

– This was done with a touch of humour, but for us this is bloody serious. The goal is to create buzz around the fight for our love. I do everything I can. If I have to fight for Dündar with my bare fists, I will. Absolutely nothing should stop us, says Annema.
