Thursday, It is at Annie’s house, an accommodation facility for the elderly in Saint-Victor-sur-Loire that the city of Saint-Etienne honored Anne Lang for her hundredth birthday. On this occasion, Nicole Aubourdy, deputy mayor presented Madame Lang with the gold medal of the city of Saint-Etienne.
Anne Lang was born in Annecy in 1921. It was during the war that she met her husband Robert at the Annecy hospital where she was a trainee nurse. Anne Lang was decorated for hiding young Jews but has always remained very discreet about this period of her life.
