On Friday, August 5, there was a car accident in Los Angeles involving Anne Heche. The actress drove into an apartment building at high speed, the vehicle she was driving burst into flames.
On Sunday, two days after the accident, a representative of Heche informed that her condition remained stable. The day before, on Saturday, August 6, a source close to Heche had informed CNN that the actress had previously been in an intensive care unit, where she had been severely burned.
Now a representative of the actress has issued a statement saying that her condition is “extremely critical”. “She is in a coma, she has not regained consciousness,” reads the release quoted by Variety.
