ANNAKIKI 2023 Autumn/Winter Collection: Embracing the Post-Apocalyptic Era

The ANNAKIKI 2023 autumn and winter series of advertising campaigns use CG technology to create devastated and desolate scenes, with the ruins of ruined civilizations as the background, to describe the theme of the “post-apocalypse” series. In the series, modern civilization is destroyed invisible, and a new order is brewing. Cyberpunk, wasteland punk and futurism overlap and merge to explore how human beings can rediscover themselves from the ruins. Wearing the ANNAKIKI 2023 autumn and winter series, the “post-human” breeds hope in the isolated island, looks at the way back and forth, thinks about the reconstruction of the world together, and establishes a new order for chaos.

Inspired by the post-apocalyptic imaginary, designer Anna Yang continued the concept of “post-humanity” in the past and created the ANNAKIKI 2023 autumn and winter series with the theme of “post-apocalypse apocalypse”. After that, they gather in groups and support each other to advance together. In this post-apocalyptic picture, “post-humans” find themselves in the ruins, resist the harsh apocalyptic environment, and fight against the unknown and turbulent world together with artificial intelligence that has self-awareness born of technological brutality.

Anna Yang boldly uses elements such as deliberately burned fabrics, dirty fabrics, old washed denim, and hand-painted dirty prints in his creations to depict the imagination of the dystopian world environment and create a forward-looking team for the post-apocalyptic era. Human Resistance Army. The wasteland-style sandproof hood and the old and mottled denim handbags are protections inspired by the imagination of human beings living in the harsh environment of post-apocalyptic self-resistance. The combination of unique wavy sleeve shape and composite metal fabric constructs a future armor for “post-humanity”. The avant-garde upright silhouette and clothing details wrapped by many functional elements create more for body transformation beyond the existing form. Possibly, it means never-ending struggle and creation.

The unconstrained design ideas and material application draw the disorderly environment of the post-apocalypse, and write a new round of order and the birth of civilization.

This season ANNAKIKI collaborates with Italian accessories brand anGostura, which often draws inspiration from ancient occultism and ancient aboriginal culture to create “body sculptures”. In addition to the classic metal body accessories, anGostura specially created unique glass and metal earrings for ANNAKIKI’s post-human legion – when the bright and fragile glass is integrated with the hard metal, it is like the natural portrayal of human beings struggling in crisis: Fragile yet indestructible.
