Anna Wendzikowska, like many other people from the world of show business, supported the protests against the tightening of the abortion law. Let us recall that the Constitutional Tribunal ruled on the prohibition of abortion. He considered that termination of pregnancy when there is a high probability of severe and irreversible impairment of the fetus or an incurable life-threatening disease is inconsistent with the constitution. So it looks like Poland will now have the most restrictive abortion law in Europe, right next to the Vatican and Malta.
Support for the Women’s Strike evokes mixed feelings in society. We recently wrote about harsh words that were said in the comments on Instagram by Przemysław Kossakowski. Internet users accused the host of “Down The Road. The band on tour” with hypocrisy. The journalist responded bluntly and with style. You can read more about the case here.
Meanwhile, a lot of emotions this time was caused by an Instagram post published by Anna Wendzikowska.
Anna Wendzikowska proudly boasted of her photo from the protest that took place last Friday in Warsaw. She added a short caption to it:
Warsaw has spoken. I am incredibly proud of my city. This spirit of positive union, strength, community … touched me that day
–
How did the fans who followed her react to her post? Some of them praised the journalist’s attitude and expressed their support for the strikers.
Girls, I am with you and I love you for what you do
–
Super Ania that you defend the rights of women and this is what you also give a very good example to your daughters, and in pro-live followers somehow you do not see this merciful language ….. Probably hypocrisy, offending people who only want to have a choice
–
Yesterday not only Warsaw was there
–
However, many Internet users were not so understanding. In the comments under the photo of the journalist, we could read a sharp exchange.
You had to sit in the bathtub. You won’t wash this dirt off yourself for so long
–
Because they won’t be able to murder their kids, that’s really a reason to be pissed
–
And what about Anna Wendzikowska herself? She was not silent. She discussed with the fans, trying to convince them of her arguments.
Girls, I have a feeling there is more to it now. That there should be no consent to violence against women, for equal wages, for the overthrow of the patriarchy, which still prevails in our country. Let’s be good to each other. If any of you want to have six children and take care of their upbringing, that’s okay, and if one wants not to have kids, but only have a career and travel the world, that’s okay too. Choice and forbearance

Yes, we suffered a wave of social anger, but also positive energy, because it was a very positive protest. Music, laughter, fun, cultural and very intelligent posters. I am proud of my city
