Scoliosis is a permanent deformation of the spine, related to a torsion of the vertebrae with respect to each other, in the three planes of space (up-down, right-left, front-back). Appear especially in childhood and adolescence, but it can also occur in adulthood.

Doctors are of the opinion that, depending on the degree of curvature, it is recommended physical therapy for mild cases, the corset for cases of great severity and the operation for exceptional cases.

Generally, scoliosis is treated by gymnastics, physiotherapy and even drugs. However, all this is determined by the specialist doctor, who decides the best way of treatment for each patient and the degree of scoliosis they are dealing with.
