LONDON – The match of the 1st round of the women’s Wimbledon singles between the Slovak tennis player Anna Karolína Schmiedlová and the Swiss qualifier Viktorija Golubicová was interrupted at the score of 3:6 due to darkness and will be played again on Thursday.
The duel was originally supposed to take place already on Tuesday, but the entire program on the grass of the All England Club was significantly disrupted by rain.
