It must be said that the former virtuoso cellist – who describes herself as an “Asian European fine jewelry artist” – takes the notion of excellence very seriously. An impressive CV – New England Conservatory of Music (NEC), Gemological Institute of America, FIT, Parsons School of Design (Master dedicated to 19th century French jewelry), Columbia University – supports this ambition.
The designer Anna Hu uses, in her unique pieces, a wide variety of materials (aluminum, titanium, shell) and techniques (engraving of hard stones, enamel).
