Anna Grzeszczak-Hutek was born on July 17, 1948 in Łódź in a family with legal traditions, and she also studied law at the University of Łódź. In 1976, she graduated from the State Higher School of Television, Film and Theater in Łódź. In the same year, she appeared in “Colors of Protection”, dir. Krzysztof Zanussi.
The actress appeared on the stages of Łódź, among others as Young in “The Curse” by Stanisław Wyspiański at the Teatr Ziemia Łódzka; Wanda in “Legend” by Wyspiański and widow Begbick in “Man Like Man” by Bertold Brecht at the Nowy Theater in Łódź, Mrs. Jourdain in “Mieszczanienie noble” by Moliere, and Mother in “The Curse” by Wyspiański at the Jaracz Theater in Łódź.
She has also played in many films, including: “Protective Colors”, “Psy”, “Edi”, “Angry House”, “Róża”, “Ida”, “Neighbors”, “Volhynia”, “Afterimages” and “Legions” .
