Herman van der Zandt (50) and Anna Gimbrere (38) will soon have a son. The science journalist announced earlier this month that she is pregnant, but she had not yet revealed the gender. She did this on Thursday night in the KRO-NCRV program ‘Pointer’.

One of the students has ADHD and offers to do something for Anna’s baby. She says that she still doesn’t know what the baby’s name will be, and after that the boy suggests the name Annabel. Anna replied, “Well, it’s only a boy.” Then she looks towards the crew and realizes: “Nobody knows that yet.” The student then suggests the name James.
Anna and Herman announced in 2019 that they are in a relationship. Herman already has two children from a previous marriage.
