Anna Drijver has written television series for Elise Schaap | NOW

Anna Drijver has written a series for her Undercovercolleague Elise Schaap. In conversation with NU.nl, Drijver says that the idea arose two years ago and they now hope to find a place where they can make the series.

“I really have the dream to make a series with Elise. I have already written it and we have found a good director. We want to make that anyway,” said the 36-year-old actress.

Drijver has written two books in the past, You stay in No, and has spent the past two years working with Schaap on the series she created.

“Actually, Anna is now my showrunner. I really hope that this will work out, I think we have a very strong idea”, says Schaap, who, like Drijver, hopes that the series will be picked up by Netflix.

What the series is about, Drijver does not really want to say. “The character that Elise plays is just getting more and more extreme and more extreme. I can’t say too much about it yet, because I really want to make sure it will be made first. But this is my dream.”
