Russian tennis player Anna Blinkova reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Bad Homburg, Germany, the prize fund of which exceeds $250,000.
In the second round match, Blinkova (39th racket of the world) defeated Canadian Leila Fernandez (96th) – 7:5, 6:2.
Blinkova’s opponent for reaching the semi-finals will be the Polish Iga Swiatek (1st).

Also, the Russian Lyudmila Samsonova reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, who will meet with the Czech Katerina Sinyakova.
