Mammootty’s Kannur Squad, directed by debutant Robbie Varghese Raj, hit the theaters on September 28.
Actor Ankit Madha also appeared in an important role in the film. Ankit played the role of Yogesh, a policeman from Uttar Pradesh in the film.
The audience gave great comments to Ankit’s character. Now Ankit is sharing the shooting experiences of the Kannur squad.
In a crucial scene in the film, Ankit’s character gives a salute to Mammootty’s character. Ankit says that the salute was given by the legend Mammootty.
‘That salute is my salute to the legend Mammootty. It was only later that a policeman named Yogesh came to give it to George,’ says Ankit.
Ankit says that he is not an actor who has been watching him since childhood and he is lucky to have acted with him. Ankit also says that Mammootty was living in the film.
‘Mammooka was living in the movie. I consider myself very lucky to have acted with him and my only prayer during the shooting of the film was that there should not be a retake due to my mistake,’ adds Ankit.
Ankit said these things in an interview given to Silly Monks. Kannur Squad is the fourth film produced by Mammootty’s company. The Kannur squad continues to race at the box office as well.
